Karin, you are welcome!
I would LOVE to join this blog. My name is Melinda Harkema, my blog is at http://luvlibya.blogspot.com. My e-mail is mharkema@yahoo.com.
I love to cook, and I'm always after new recipes, and new ways of looking at old ones. I do have a wonderful recipe for cheese grits that I'll have to post, and though I am American, I've converted the recipe to metric measures.
One thing I'm happy that's here is Middle Eastern/Libyan food-- most of the cookbooks published here in the West have no mention of Libyan cuisine, and most Middle Eastern cookbooks are Lebanese or general Mediterranean... not a lot of variety. THANK YOU SO MUCH for offering this site so newbies like me can learn to make something different yet delectable.
Hi there,
I am wondering if anybody could post the recipy for el-abumber with almond or peanuts.
Thanks
